This decision follows the party&#8217;s initial list of 195 candidates announced on March 2, which covered nominees for 15 Lok Sabha seats.<br \/>The BJP&#8217;s dominance in Gujarat was reaffirmed in the 2019 polls when it secured a clean sweep over the Indian National Congress (INC), clinching all 26 seats for the second consecutive time.<br \/><b>Central and state government&#8217;s performance<\/b><br \/>According to the News18 opinion poll, 80% of the respondents in Gujarat expressed satisfaction with the performance of the central government and PM Modi, with 52% being very satisfied and 28% somewhat satisfied.<br \/>Reflecting on the performance of the state government, the survey provided insights into public satisfaction levels. A notable 63% of respondents expressed satisfaction, with 43% indicating being very satisfied and 20% somewhat satisfied. Conversely, 16% exhibited dissatisfaction, with 12% somewhat dissatisfied and 4% very dissatisfied. Importantly, 21% remained neutral in their opinion of the state government.<br \/><b>Sitting MPs<\/b><br \/>Regarding the performance of sitting MPs over the last five years, the survey reflected a mix of opinions among respondents. While 53% expressed satisfaction, with 37% being very satisfied and 16% somewhat satisfied, a smaller percentage indicate dissatisfaction, with 20% being somewhat dissatisfied and 4% very dissatisfied.<br \/><b>Key factors for voting&nbsp;<\/b><br \/>As the electoral landscape evolves, the populace of Gujarat weighed multiple factors in deciding their vote. According to the recent survey conducted by News18, respondents prioritised key issues in their decision-making process. Jobs, inflation, and the law and order situation emerged as the top three important factors for voters, at 52%, 46%, and 40%, respectively.
