The battle for the 81 Assembly seats will be held in October-November.<br \/>The state has seen a political churn after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/politics\/jharkhand-political-crisis-hemant-soren-alleges-raj-bhavan-was-instrumental-in-his-arrest-18976441.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\">JMM Executive President Hemant Soren<\/span><\/a> was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on January 31 in connection with a money laundering case linked to alleged land fraud, after his resignation as chief minister.<br \/>In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, out of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state, the BJP bagged 11, AJSU Party one, JMM one and the Congress one. However, the Congress&#8217; lone MP Geeta Kora recently shifted to the BJP.<br \/>During the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP secured victory in 12 out of the 14 seats, attaining a vote share of 40%.
