Congress Manifesto 2024 \u2018Nyay Patra\u2019 Key Highlights:<\/strong> With just a fortnight remaining for the Lok Sabha Polls, the Congress released its manifesto at its party headquarters in New Delhi on Friday.
The manifesto, titled \u2018Nyay Patra\u2019 was released in the presence of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge<\/a> and senior leaders Sonia Gandhi<\/a>, Rahul Gandhi<\/a>, KC Venugopal and P Chidambaram. It focused on five \u201cpillars of justice\u201d (Yuva Nyay, Naari Nyay, Kisaan Nyay, Shramik Nyay and Hissedari Nyay) with 25 guarantees under them.
Right to apprenticeship, a legal guarantee for MSP<\/a>, and passing a constitutional amendment to raise the 50 per cent cap on reservations for SCs, STs and OBCs are among the promises made by the Congress in its manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls.
Appealing to people to look beyond religion, language, caste and choose wisely to install a democratic government, the party said the general elections present an opportunity to radically the change style of governance that has been in evidence over the past decade.
Here are some of the key promises made in the manifesto:<\/strong><\/em>

\ud83d\udccc\u00a0 Legal guarantee to Minimum Support Prices<\/a><\/strong> (MSP)
\ud83d\udccc Immediately restore Jammu<\/a> and Kashmir’s statehood
\ud83d\udccc Scrapping the the Agnipath Scheme<\/a>
\ud83d\udccc The Rajasthan<\/a> model of cashless insurance of up to Rs 25 lakh will be adopted for universal healthcare
\ud83d\udccc National minimum wage will be Rs 400 per day
\ud83d\udccc\u00a0 Launch of the Mahalakshmi scheme to provide Rs 1 lakh per year to every poor Indian family.
\ud83d\udccc Scrapping contractualisation of regular jobs in govt, PSUs and ensure regularisation of such appointments.
\ud83d\udccc\u00a0 Filling nearly 30 lakh vacancies in sanctioned posts at various levels in the central government.
