The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance is predicted to win eight Lok Sabha seats from the southern state of Telangana, currently governed by the Congress party, while the INDIA bloc is projected to secure six Lok Sabha seats, according to the News18 poll survey.
The News18 Mega Opinion Poll also suggests that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is likely to secure two seats and Asaduddin Owaisi-led All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen is tipped to win one Lok Sabha seat in Telangana.
NDA is expected to receive a vote share of 28 percent, while the INDIA bloc is projected to gain 34 percent, and the BRS is anticipated to receive a vote share of 27 percent.

Telangana has a total of 17 Lok Sabha seats out of which three seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates, while two seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidates.
During the 2019 elections, Bharat Rashtra Samithi came out as the biggest party after winning nine seats, while BJP came second with four seats, pushing the Congress to number three with three seats. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen had also won one seat.
However, the upcoming Lok Sabha poll is expected to witness another three-way tussle as all the three major fronts – BRS, National Democratic Alliance and INDIA alliance, will be looking to come out on top and claim their stake in the landscapes of the state’s politics.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Telangana was one of the opening states for the election, and with nothing changing much in the landscape of the state in the last five years, that might be the case once again during the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, taking the expected timeline of the Lok Sabha elections to the month of April.
Congress leader Revanth Reddy has been credited with revitalising the party and leading it to victory in a state where the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, led by K Chandrashekar Rao, had seemed to enjoy immense popular support and was perceived as very hard to beat. The BRS had ruled in the state ever since its formation in 2014.
