According to the survey, the NDA will win with 58 percent vote share while the INDIA bloc will win three seats with 35 percent. The Congress bagged one seat in 2019 and nine in 2014.
The state has 28 Lok Sabha seats which makes it a crucial battleground to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of winning 400 plus seats by NDA in the upcoming polls. The BJP will contest 25 of the 28 seats while its coalition partner JD(S) will contest three constituencies in the Old Mysore region.

In the state Assembly polls last year, the Congress secured a resounding victory winning 136 of the total 224 seats. The BJP came a distant second with 65 seats and the JD(S) won 19 seats. The Congress unseated the Basavaraj Bommai-led BJP and formed the government.
Karnataka
The Congress named seven candidates from Karnataka in its first list. MP D K Suresh, MP SP Muddahanumegowda and Geetha Shivarajkumar, sister of Karnataka’s Primary and Secondary Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa,  are among the leaders who will be contesting.
Meanwhile, the BJP replaced nine sitting Lok Sabha MPs and fielded eight new faces in its second list. The party has decided to field Mysore royal family member Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, cardiologist CN Manjunath, and former BJP chief minister Basavaraj Bommai among other new faces.
Of the 127 seats in five southern states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, and Union Territory Lakshadweep, the BJP could win only 29 in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to kickstart the BJP’s campaign in Karnataka by addressing public conventions on March 16 and 18, in Kalaburagi and Shivamogga, respectively.
